Driver seat and passenger seat squeak when driving over every bump in the road. (Unbelievably irritating.) Volvo is aware of mass issues but no recall fix planned. Small gas tank; short range. Multiple failures with sensors and computer systems. Technology package was released prematurely. Released with known bugs to sell features that don't work. New updates are needed almost monthly, but don't have the ability to push remotely. Must bring vehicle into the shop for hours. 6 trips to dealership to address issues within the first year of ownership. Couldn't be more disappointed. I should have bought a Kia Telluride or Honda Pilot. Better quality, better warranty, lower price.…

Not even 300 miles on the car yet

I have the 2022 Volvo XC50 momentum AWD for about a week now. My first two days driving were honestly a pleasure. It was so smooth and quiet that it was really nice driving it around town. However not even 300 miles on the car and less then 8 days of ownership I’m already having electrical issues. My infotainment system and odometer system all went black while riding off the highway. I couldn’t tell how fast I was going. My headlights keep flickering and when the car is off and key fob is away from the car, it’s making weird clicking sounds. Honestly, this isn’t what I expect for a $50k car. There should be no issues and the whole reason why I sold my VW was because that too I purchased new and it was nothing but problems but this is probably worse because there’s even more tech involved and all of my issues are electrical. I do t k ow what to do now. I have an appointment at Volvo to check out my car on Monday but I already want to return it and go buy a Lexus. I would say if you’re thinking about buying one I may not advise it. I guess I’m mostly mad because my friends all told me that since Volvo is owned by Geely (a Chinese company) their quality may not be the same as the old Volvos and I just ignored them and did my research and just assumed they were being biased but I was proven wrong. It’s not a well built car like a Lexus or Toyota or Genesis.…
