Design
The Volvo XC40 Recharge looks much like the regular XC40, with sculpted sides, pronounced wheel arches, and the available color-contrast roof. The main differences are its closed-off grille (with no engine to cool) and unique wheels. The XC40 Recharge is available in eight colors and has a small trunk in the front. Drivers in Camp Hill, PA will appreciate that it has over 20 cubic feet of cargo space behind its back seats to put their groceries or luggage. A hands-free power tailgate is available to make it easier to load. The XC40 Recharge also has other smart storage compartments for water bottles, gym bags, phones, laptops and more. Like the gas-powered XC40, the XC40 Recharge comes standard with cloth and synthetic leather upholstered seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. To make it even more environment-friendly, Volvo made the XC40 Recharge's carpet from recycled materials.
Technology
You'll still enjoy convenient, state-of-the-art technology with the Volvo XC40 Recharge, only better. People in Hershey, PA will like its new Google-developed infotainment system, which uses an Android interface with all its apps embedded, so they can stay connected on the go, even without having their phone on them. Other standard and available features in the new XC40 Recharge include:Â
- Blind spot information system with steer assist
     - Pilot Assist (keeps a set speed and distance to vehicles in front of you, while controlling the steering to keep you centered in your lane)
     - Volvo On Call app (view the XC40 Recharge's charging status, heat or cool it with remote start, lock or unlock your it, and more)
